JC Green, Fire Marshall for the City of Sevierville, TN who also owns a STR will go over the details that your client needs to know when looking for an investment property. STR in Sevier County are subject to a permit, annual inspections, require escape windows in sleeping units with minimum width and height requirements, and could require a sprinkler system when sleeping more than 12 people. Other factors like square footage could trigger the need for a sprinkler so it’s best know your client’s intentions when looking for their investment home in Sevier County.
